MEDIUM is both an ensemble and a piece originally created in 1997 by Doug Lussenhop, Brent Gutzeit, and Todd A Carter. MEDIUM is an open member platform where anyone who wants to drone can take part. Guidelines of Medium: drone - do not disturb the drone - drone. Since 1997 Medium has performed many longform improvisations, including their annual 24 hour performances on New Year’s Day.
